Indigo Blanc Pillow

made by SINGLE MOTHERS COOPERATIVE in lake atitlán, guatemala

2 in stock

Naturally dyed using the leaves of the Indigofera Tinctoria plant, these ikat stripes are skillfully designed using a series of ties done by hand and by memory. Learned at a young age, the weavers know their craft by heart, making each pillow at the highest quality and deeply personal. Design on front only, with solid white backing.  Finished with a traditional embellishment of a white, handstitched “ronda” line.  Due to its handcrafted nature, each pillow varies slightly.

This pillow helps provide education and health care for the children of Single Mothers Cooperative.
