Vintage Guatemalan Pillow No.20
2 in stock
From the naturally dyed indigo to the variety of hand-tied ikat designs to the colorful embroidered stitch, every part of this textile shows the weaver’s artistry. Traditionally used for a “corte” (Guatemalan skirt), this long panel of fabric wrapped around a woman’s waist and held in place with a colorful embroidered belt. Found in Antigua’s open-air market.
Pillow is backed with solid ivory fabric. Due to its vintage nature, each handmade pillow varies slightly and shows some minor use.
